The ‘My First Emergency’ children’s book series tell stories of kids experiencing their first emergency where the ambulance, fire brigade and police come to help.

With fun and relatable stories, kids can learn what happens and what to do in an emergency. The stories target early childhood age and are designed with a discussion page as a perfect way to start conversations that teach children important things to know and practise in an emergency, like the emergency number to call.

The books feature Australian native animals who take on the heroic roles of our respected and vital emergency services professionals - Paramedic Ambo Kookie a Kookaburra, Fireman Rooey a Kangaroo and Police Officer Emy an Emu.

With 3 books to start the series and more to come - the stories, cute characters and colourful emergency vehicles make learning an important theme with little ones fun!
